I have received notice of a matter of concern from Senator Twomey under Standing Order 31, namely, the need for the Minister for Education and Science and his colleague the Minister for Finance to alter the legislation regarding the registration of charities to shorten the interval between registration as a charity and the charitable status activation from two years to three months for all schools in the country to allow them benefit from this legislation to fund activities. It will be taken at 12.50 p.m.
