I am advised by the Commissioners of Public Works (OPW) that the former Garda station property at Kilfinane, Co. Limerick is currently sale agreed.
As no acceptable offers were received at the public and online auction the property was placed on the open market for sale by private treaty. On 29 September 2025, Rooney Auctioneers advised the OPW that it had received what it considered to be the final offer on the property and recommended the OPW to accept the offer. The Chief State Solicitor’s Office is currently finalising the contract for sale.
As the sale has not closed further details are commercially sensitive until completion of the contract for sale.
