It is the role of the Operator of the National Lottery to pay prizes to verified winners in accordance with game rules.

The Regulator of the National Lottery holds the Operator to account for its compliance with its legal obligations under the National Lottery Act 2013 and the licence to operate the National Lottery. The Regulator carefully considers all complaints received from players relating to the prize-claim process and routinely monitors the Operator’s efforts to ensure that unclaimed prizes are claimed before they expire.

As Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform, I have no role in relation to the prize claim process.
