To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 548 of 4 March 2025, of the figures previously provided in relation to disqualification orders between 2020 to date, the number of those that were lifetime disqualification orders, between ten and 20 years, between five and ten years, and less than five years, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Neglect or causing unnecessary suffering to any animal is unacceptable in our society and I am fully committed to the ongoing promotion and enforcement of high animal welfare standards. My Department continues to enforce the law in this important area as does An Garda Síochána, the Customs service, the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA) and the Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA).

Of the figures previously provided, through Parliamentary Question No. 548 of 4 March 2025, in relation to disqualification orders between 2020, to date, the number of those that were lifetime disqualification orders, between ten and 20 years, between five and ten years, and less than five years, is set out below, in tabular form:
