Information on expenditure on the procurement of services to develop or maintain digital and IT systems within Offices and Agencies under the aegis of my Department has been requested from those bodies and once available, this information will be provided to the Deputy by way of written reply.
I note that the Deputy has asked separate 2 separate questions (6450/25 and 6451/25) in relation to the procurement of services to develop or maintain a website- the expenditure data above relates only to the development or maintenance of digital and IT systems and excludes expenditure on the development of websites. It also excludes software license costs paid to external vendors for use of those systems and excludes expenditure areas such as equipment, infrastructure, telecoms, security etc.
