The Office of Public Works can confirm that works will be undertaken in Greystones Garda Station as outlined below. The commencement dates for any scheduled works are subject to the final sign off of operational and design requirements by An Garda Síochána, and a successful tendering process.
A Proposal for the rationalisation of the internal layout has been approved by An Garda Síochána. These works include the creation of suitable female staff welfare facilities, improved safety measures for staff and a general reconfiguration of spaces to maximise the footprint for staff along with improved access for the public.
It is expected that works will commence onsite in Q4 2024.
