123. To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade when a passport will issue to a person (details supplied); the reason for the delay in issuing said passport; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26050/23]

With regard to the specific application about which the Deputy has enquired, the applicant submitted some of the required documents to the Passport Service on 18 April 2023. The Passport Service has requested additional documents from the applicant. The application cannot proceed until the required supporting documents have been received.

With regard to the specific applications about which the Deputy has inquired, the Passport Service has issued passports to the applicants.
