The Kildare Town Sewerage Scheme is included in my Department's Water Services Investment Programme 2007-2009 as a scheme to start construction in 2008 at an estimated cost of €21.4 m. Kildare County Council's Contract Documents for the wastewater treatment plant and collection system have been under examination in my Department and my Department will be in touch with the Council shortly.
