I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 27A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Ray Butler - the need to provide credit facilities to small businesses; (2) Deputy Derek Keating - the law enforcement efforts being taken to prevent the cultivation of cannabis; (3) Deputy Tom Barry - the need to ensure parity of funding to all providers of second-level education; (4) Deputy Michael McNamara - public order offences and violence in Ennis, County Clare; (5) Deputy Brendan Griffin - the planned closure of Island View high support mental health hostel, Caherciveen, County Kerry; (6) Deputy Brian Stanley - the proposed reforms to local government announced yesterday; (7) Deputy Patrick O'Donovan - the need to make provision to transport patients from remote areas to and from hospital; (8) Deputies Joe Higgins, Richard Boyd Barrett, Clare Daly - the possible closure of the adult refugee programme and the implications for employment, refugees and migrant workers; (9) Deputy Pearse Doherty - safety concerns in isolated rural communities arising from the reduction in Garda resources; (10) Deputy Willie Penrose - the urgency for the HSE to honour agreements and commitments made to home help personnel in 2009 and more particularly to engage with the Labour Court in accordance with recommendation No. LCR 20312, for 29 June 2012, in order to finalise an agreement; (11) Deputy Noel Harrington - the imminent closure by the Courts Service of the court houses in Kinsale, Skibbereen and Clonakilty, County Cork; (12) Deputy Joan Collins - the plans to eliminate food poverty in view of the recent report by SafeFood; (13) Deputy James Bannon - the provision of additional temporary accommodation for Lanesboro College, County Longford; (14) Deputy Thomas P. Broughan - the need to address cystic fibrosis services on the northside of Dublin; (15) Deputy Regina Doherty - the loss of a classroom teacher from Ratoath junior national school, County Meath; (16) Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - the need to open a new purpose built 70 bed public nursing home in Inchicore, Dublin; (17) Deputy Denis Naughten - the need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to take immediate steps to restrict the outbreak of Chalara fraxinea in County Leitrim; (18) Deputy Michael Moynihan - the need to rectify the accommodation problem at Presentation Convent national school, Millstreet, County Cork; (19) Deputy Mick Wallace - the raid by the Revenue Commissioner's customs service on two illegal diesel laundries and the effect this illegal activity has on jobs; (20) Deputies Niall Collins, Aodhán Ó Ríordáin - the need to address the problems highlighted in the report of the Inspector of Prisons on St. Patrick's Institution, Dublin; (21) Deputy Mattie McGrath - the abolition of 80 town councils as part of local government reform; (22) Deputy Martin Heydon - the need for a reduction in the contribution of local authorities towards housing adaptation grants; (23) Deputy Dessie Ellis - the continued risks to residents in the Gleann Riada estate, Longford; (24) Deputy Robert Troy - the lack of broadband provision in rural parts of counties Longford and Westmeath; (25) Deputy Sean Fleming - the recently introduced changes to the private security authority registration costs and approval of contractors for electric gates and surveillance equipment; (26) Deputy Kevin Humphreys - the loss of over €70 million due to delays in health insurance claims being finalised; and (27) Deputy Billy Kelleher - the new rostering arrangements for ambulance drivers and paramedics in Cork.

The matters raised by Deputies Ray Butler; Michael Moynihan; Pearse Doherty; and Niall Collins and Aodhán Ó Ríordáin have been selected for discussion.
