I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the member in each case: (1) Deputy Joe McHugh - the delivery of new school buildings to St. Eunan's College, Letterkenny, County Donegal; (2) Deputy Pat Breen - the need to amend the Waste Management Acts 1996 to 2008; (3) Deputy Leo Varadkar - the need for the Minister for Transport to intervene in the dispute between residents and the NRA and M50 concession with regard to the M50 embankment at Castleknock Glade, Laurel Lodge, Castleknock, Dublin 15, wherein the trees at the rear of the houses were removed by the M50 concession despite assurances from the NRA in writing that they would not be removed, where large amounts of soil have been taken out from the embankment to facilitate the M50 upgrade resulting in a serious loss of residential amenity for residents of the houses affected and a serious reduction in the value of their properties due to the loss of privacy, increase in noise, pollution and spill from the lights and given there have been several meetings with the NRA and M50 concession but with no resolution to date; (4) Deputy Noel J. Coonan - the need to address the campaign of the National Coalminers Group for redress, which arises from various health problems acquired during coalmining activity; (5) Deputy Catherine Byrne - the need to maintain the Inchicore-Ballyfermot home help service, Dublin; (6) Deputy Joe Costello - the need to end the practice of dispatching leachate from the landfill in Balleally to the treatment plant in Ringsend through the sewerage system of Dublin City Council; and (7) Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin - the need for the Minister for Finance, in light of the now signalled loss of 900 jobs at Quinn Insurance and the devastating consequences thereof, to explain why the Financial Regulator decided to ban Quinn Insurance Limited from trading in the Six Counties and in Britain hours before he sought the appointment of provisional administrators; why it has taken so many weeks to restore even partial access to these markets and what efforts the Government has employed to ensure that all decisions of the Financial Regulator have been justified given the serious consequences for this company's reputation and viability in all markets and the serious loss of jobs now consequential on the Regulator's actions.

The matters raised by Deputies Catherine Byrne, Coonan, Breen and McHugh have been selected for discussion.
