I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Alan Shatter — the provision of a permanent school building for Holy Trinity national school, Glencairn, Leopardstown, Dublin 18; (2) Deputy Dan Neville — the flooding of Newcastle West and surrounding areas on 1 August 2008; (3) Deputy Simon Coveney — calls on the Minister for Transport to outline in detail his approach to ongoing concerns at Cork Airport about debt and the need to appoint a new chairperson to the board of Cork Airport and to outline a timeframe of when he intends to enable an independent and functional Cork Airport; (4) Deputy Lucinda Creighton — the eviction of residents of Cathal Brugha Barracks in Dublin; (5) Deputies Fergus O'Dowd and Thomas P. Broughan — concerns over safety systems in Dublin Port tunnel; (6) Deputy Michael D. Higgins — the quality of water in areas of Galway; and (7) Deputy Jimmy Deenihan — the recent sinking of the Asgard II and the possibility of replacing it as the national sail training ship with the Jeanie Johnston. The matters raised by Deputies O'Dowd, Broughan, Creighton and Higgins have been selected for discussion.
