The number of Principal Officer level vacancies including Principal Officer equivalent posts that arose in my department, the numbers filled between internal and external methods; the number of vacancies each year at principal officer level filled by mobility are outlined in the table below:

My department ran direct competitions in 2024 and 2025 for Principal Officer, Head of Internal Audit and Principal Officer, Head of Finance vacancies. My department has run 5 internal Principal Officer competitions since 2010 in 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2024.
