The person concerned applied for Jobseekers Benefit on 29/7/2025. Further information in relation to this application was requested. The information was not received and the claim was closed.

The person concerned reapplied for Jobseekers Benefit on the 5/9/2025 and was awarded Jobseekers Benefit on the 16/09/2025.

The person concerned then requested payment for the period from 28/7/2025 to the 5/9/2025. This was initially disallowed. This disallowance was appealed and on review was allowed by a Deciding Officer.

Payment including arrears have now issued to the person concerned.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
