My Department's CLÁR programme provides funding under a number of different measures for small-scale infrastructural projects in designated rural areas.

The CLÁR programme in 2025 includes a range of different funding measures, including measure 1 which supports community facilities and amenities.

The closing date for receipt of applications under CLÁR 2025 has now passed for all measures.

I was delighted to announce funding of over €1.7 million earlier this year under measure 2 of the programme including 4 projects from Kerry valued at €214,964.

My officials are currently assessing applications under measure 1 of the 2025 CLÁR programme, including the project referred to by the Deputy.

I expect to announce the successful projects under this measure in the coming weeks.
