The National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF) has advised my Department that it only collates and reports on overall Dermatology waiting lists and not by subspecialty, therefore it cannot provide details on the number of patients waiting for treatment for Alopecia.

The NTPF has also advised that it does not currently outsource Dermatology treatment, and it has not provided any funding for Alopecia specific treatment in the past three years.
