2630. To ask the Minister for Health the number of dermatology referrals for alopecia areata supported by the national treatment purchase fund (NTPF) in each of the past three years; the median and 95th percentile waits before and after NTPF intervention; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF) has advised my Department that it only collates and reports on overall Dermatology waiting lists and not by subspecialty, therefore it cannot provide details on the number of patients waiting for treatment for Alopecia.

The NTPF has also advised that it does not currently outsource Dermatology treatment, and it has not provided any funding for Alopecia specific treatment in the past three years.
