Sport Ireland, which is funded by my Department, is the statutory body with responsibility for the development of sport, increasing participation at all levels and raising standards, including the allocation of funding across its various funding programmes. I have referred the Deputy's question to Sport Ireland for direct reply in relation to funding supports. I would ask the Deputy to inform my office if a reply is not received within 10 days.

As stated in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 1366 of 29 July 2025, the details of capital funding programmes or grants which the bodies under my aegis have responsibility for, and which community organisations are eligible to apply for, are operational matters for the bodies and agencies themselves.

The State bodies and agencies under the aegis of my Department can be contacted directly at the Oireachtas liaison email addresses outlined in the table below.
