The Community Sports Facilities Fund (CSFF), formerly the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme, is the primary vehicle for Government support for the development of sports and recreation facilities and the purchase of non-personal sports equipment.

Under previous rounds of the programme, the club referred to by the Deputy was awarded €15,863 in 2018 for a storage shed and equipment and a further €16,588 in 2020 toward an artificial surface and equipment. All available funding from the 2023 round of CSFF has been allocated.

In line with previous rounds of the programme, a review of the current funding round is being undertaken and that review will inform the timing of the next round of the CSFF. However, I would anticipate that the next round should be announced in 2026.
