My Department and the offices under its aegis do not own property. My Department and the offices under its aegis are in offices owned by or leased on our behalf by the Office of Public Works. The arrangements in respect to commercial rates are a matter for the owners of the properties.
Payment of commercial rates and any absolution of same in respect to any of the Agencies under the aegis of my Department is an operational matter for the Agency and I have asked them to provide the requested information within 10 working days.
