To ask the Minister for Health the number of children who have had to travel abroad for allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplants since the specialist bone marrow unit in Crumlin Children’s Hospital stopped providing the service in October 2024; the steps being taken to reopen the service; the number of posts required to recommence transplants; if the required posts have been advertised; if so, the status of recruitment for each of these posts; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
