I received a proposal from the Labour Court for a new ERO for the Security Sector on 19 June 2025.
I can confirm that I have signed an Employment Regulation Order to give effect to the proposal - (www.enterprise.gov.ie/en/news-and-events/department-news/2025/july/20250711.html).
The ERO will come into effect on the 22 July 2025. This ERO amends the 2024 ERO for the sector: www.enterprise.gov.ie/en/legislation/legislation-files/si-no-319-of-2024.pdf . It will have the effect of increasing the minimum hourly rate for workers in the sector from €14.50 to €15.41 from that date. It will be available to the public on my Department's website.
