I have met with the CEO of Tourism Ireland on a number of occasions since the transfer of responsibility for tourism policy to my portfolio earlier this year, including at Tourism Ireland’s West Coast US sales mission in February, the launch of my Department’s Business Events Strategy 2030 in Dublin in April and at the international launch of the Strategy at the business events trade show IMEX in Frankfurt in May.

While I have had no formal meetings with the CEO in the past four weeks, further opportunities for engagement are planned for the remainder of the year.
