Culture Ireland is a unit of my Department with responsibility for the promotion of Irish Arts internationally. In doing so, they work with international presenting partners and annually funded bodies to bring high quality Irish arts, across all artforms, to global audiences.

In 2024 Culture Ireland supported over 5,500 artist presentations in over 50 countries to audiences in excess of 6.5 million.

In 2025, Culture Ireland's allocation is €8 million.

Details of the funding allocations for Culture Ireland from 2022 onwards are as follows:

Year Allocation
2025 €8m
2024 €7.6m
2023 €6.6m
2022 €4.6m

In relation to annual expenditure relating to Culture Ireland since 2005, I would refer the Deputy to the published annual appropriation accounts at: www.audit.gov.ie/en/publications/appropriation%20accounts/#:~:text=Appropriation%20Accounts%202021,expenditure%20related%20to%20each%20Vote
