721. To ask the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality when a centre (details supplied) will again be able to offer full respite services to children and families, which I am advised, has not been provided since January 2025; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [34010/25]

Tusla, the Child and Family Agency has advised my Department that, in January 2025, the Agency was required to identify a suitable placement for a child with challenging and complex needs. In the circumstances, the Agency made the decision to temporarily close the referenced respite centre in order to accommodate this critical placement of a vulnerable young person.
Tusla has advised that there is currently no timeline for the reopening of the centre to provide respite services. Tusla has committed to providing support to those affected by the closure of this service.
Tusla has given a commitment to keep this issue under constant review, as it continues to respond to the urgent needs of children and young people in its care.
