The School Transport Scheme is a significant operation managed by Bus Éireann on behalf of the Department of Education and Youth.

Bus Éireann has advised that the pick up point in question has been assessed by the inspector and a new pick up point will be added at the Beaufort Bar which has been deemed to be a safer location for these pupils. This pick up point will commence in the 2025/26 school year.

The local Bus Éireann office will contact the relevant families with further details.
