The Department regularly receives offers of international protection accommodation from providers around the country.

An offer of accommodation at the location provided was recently appraised, but following the appraisal process, the offer is no longer under consideration.

All offers of international protection accommodation are reviewed by the Department under a standardised appraisal procedure. When considering offers of accommodation for international protection applicants, a range of factors may be taken on board and each offer is considered individually.

Factors that are considered may include the property type and size, the cost, the location, and existing accommodation provision for international protection applicants or people from Ukraine in the area.

Consideration is also given to the location with regard to access to services, resident welfare, health and wellbeing, and the current level of need in the sector.
