The Department's blended working policy requires staff to attend a minimum of two days per week in the office. Given the specialist nature of the work in the National Archives of Ireland (NAI) and the public facing duties of some members of staff, blended working arrangements in the National Archives require staff to attend a minimum of 3 days per week.
Service Officers and Services Attendant roles are not suitable for blended working.
The current headcount for the Department is 503. The percentage of staff approved for working from home for at least two days per week is 78% set out in tabular form below.
No. of Staff | Approved Blended Working Applications for at least two days per week working from home | Staff Percentage | |
---|---|---|---|
Department Staff (excl. NAI) | 434 | 375 | 86% |
National Archives of Ireland | 69 | 18 | 26% |
Total Headcount | 503 | 393 | 78% |
