My Department is committed to meeting its obligations under the Climate Action Plan and Public Sector Climate Action Mandate. Central to this is the development of my Department’s annual Climate Action Roadmaps, which are available at www.gov.ie/en/department-of-rural-and-community-development/collections/drcd-climate-action-roadmap/. These action plans set out the measures to be taken by my Department to support delivery of its obligations. In addition, the plans detail how schemes operated by my Department support wider climate action.
While my Department is not directly responsible for the sectors most related to climate action, I am confident my Department has the required resources to meet our obligations and to help contribute to climate action across Government.
