2108. To ask the Minister for Health if there has been any positive movement in finding a resolution on the psychiatric nurses' strike, either in terms of discussions held or facilitating a general improvement in pay and conditions; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [19307/25]

Following extensive engagement under the auspices of the WRC, the Psychiatric Nurses Association (PNA) announced the suspension of its industrial action on the 4th April 2025. An agreement was reached with the HSE that they would conduct a review process to set out the nursing numbers required to run mental health services. Local engagement between the PNA and the HSE continues on this matter.

Annualised rates of remuneration, as well as all allowances payable to all staff of the public health service, are as per those set out in the Department's Consolidated Salary Scales.
There is currently no proposal to introduce an allowance as per the Deputy's question.
