I propose to take Questions Nos. 1290 and 1291 together.
As part of the publication of the Revised Estimates Volumes (REV), my Department includes a detailed range of programme/subhead performance metrics which demonstrate the full remit of Housing investment and activity each year.
In respect of REV 2025, the detailed metrics for Subhead A.12 Traveller Accommodation are set out on page 161 under the Equality Budgeting Objectives and Performance Indicators section. The performance metrics for Subhead A.15 Regeneration are set out on page 160.
2024 delivery under the Regeneration programme was as follows:
2024 | No. of Homes |
---|---|
Re-build | 55 |
Demolition | 12 |
Thermal upgrades | 47 |
Refurbishments | 51 |
From 2025, all new build construction expenditure in the regeneration areas will be provided though more appropriate funding mechanisms such as CALF, SHIP, CREL and the AHF. As a result of this change, the metrics for the Regeneration budget will focus on demolition, retrofitting and refurbishment of dwellings, and improvements to the public realm.
