I can confirm that my Department received the following funding applications from Dublin City Council (DCC) for inner city flat complexes in 2024 and to date in 2025:

Project Funding Application Date Received Current Status
Matt Talbot Court Pre-Tender Approval 22/03/2024 Pre-tender Approval
Donore Project (formerly St. Teresa’s Gardens complex) Pre-Tender Approval 27/06/2024 Pre-tender Approval
Pearse House Pre-Planning Approval 29/10/2024 Under review by DCC
Constitution Hill, Phase 1 Approval-to-Proceed to contract 22/01/2025 Approval to Proceed
In 2024 and again in 2025, €90 million of funding has been made available under my Department’s Energy Efficiency Retrofit Programme (EERP); of which €11.2 million has been allocated to Dublin City Council which will support the retrofit of over 300 local authority owned dwellings. The selection of homes for inclusion in the EERP is a matter for the Council in their administration of the programme.
