To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade the meetings the special envoy to the United States of America has had since his appointment; the date and locations of meetings; the travel costs incurred as a consequence of these meetings; and the resources available to the envoy from his Department. There is no Special Envoy to the United States in place, and I have no plans to appoint one.
The appointment of any Special Envoys in my Department would be subject to the process for the approval of Special Envoys approved by Government in November 2021.
