I am informed by Public Appointments Service (PAS) that they prepared a Candidate Information Booklet for the Garda Trainee campaign and this was available in English and Irish. PAS has an in-house translator who translated the Booklet and therefore no additional costs were incurred.

Separately, I am informed by PAS that An Garda Síochána developed leaflets promoting the recruitment campaign being run by PAS. The leaflets were developed and paid for by An Garda Síochána and PAS are unaware of the costs of same; PAS understands that the leaflets were available in 16 languages.
