Through the effective use of advanced technology and continual staff training my Department utilises a layered approach to cybersecurity. In addition the Department is in close contact with the National Cyber Security Centre who offer guidance and instruction regarding emerging threats and the ever changing cybersecurity landscape. For operational and security reasons, my Department does not disclose details of its cybersecurity arrangements or to disclose the details of any attempted cyberattacks or the origin of same.
