My Department received a request for the assignment of the licence referred to by the Deputy on 04 April 2024. My Department’s Marine Engineers inspected the site on 05 June 2024 and identified a number of non-compliance issues. These were communicated to the licence holder who undertook work on the site to resolve the issues identified. Following a re-inspection of the site and follow-up with the licence holder, a report on 20 December 2024 verified the site was now in compliance. The assignment request is currently under consideration by my Department and is being processed in the normal way.
