The Central Statistics Office (CSO) compiles statistical data in relation to imports and exports. These statistics can be found on the website, cso.ie. The CSO provides data on a country/state level and therefore, while data is available for imports from China, the more detailed breakdown or an estimate requested by the Deputy, for Xinjiang province in China, is not available.
In the period 2020 to 2024 the value of imports from China to Ireland was as follows:
Imports from China
- | Goods €million | Services €million |
---|---|---|
2020 | 6,547 | 5,118 |
2021 | 8,452 | 5,694 |
2022 | 14,428 | 7,053 |
2023 | 10,764 | 5,490 |
2024 | 11,779 | Not yet available |
