253. To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment further to Parliamentary Question Nos. 117 and 116 of 26 February 2025, the number of outstanding applications under the increased cost of business and power up grant schemes in Counties Cavan and Monaghan, due to be finalised; when it is expected payments will issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In total, the Increased Cost of Business (ICOB) and Power Up grant schemes paid out over €400 million in 2024.

Cavan County Council paid out over €3 million in 2,263 grants to businesses under ICOB, including first and second payments. In addition, 824 grants were approved by Cavan County Council under Power Up, totalling just under €3.3m.

Monaghan County Council paid out over €3.1 million in 2,159 grants to businesses that were approved for the ICOB grant, including first and second payments. In addition, 789 grants were approved by Monaghan County Council under Power Up, totalling €3.15 million.

There are no further payments to be made to businesses in Cavan or Monaghan, all approved eligible businesses have been paid the ICOB and Power Up grants.
