The options for the development of an Incentive Scheme for School Teachers and Early Years Tutors, aimed at improving the standard of Irish of these professionals systematically and on a voluntary basis, are currently being examined in the Department. The roll-out of the scheme will be subject to the availability of resources to my Department and the competing demands on same.
