The Department of Social Protection has published data on the number of recipients of Jobseeker’s Allowance and other schemes by broad nationality group since 2016. These breakdowns are set out in Table 1 below. Figures for 2024 are being finalised, and the Annual Statistics Report is expected to be published in June 2025.

Expenditure on Jobseeker's Allowance is provided in Table 2. Expenditure is recorded at the scheme level, not the individual level and it is not possible to accurately attribute expenditure to these different groupings.
