The brief which I and the Ministers of State at my Department received following our appointments as Ministers will be published in the coming days on the Department's website.

Niall Collins TD has been appointed Minister of State at my Department with special responsibility for International Law, Law Reform and Youth Justice. Colm Brophy TD has been appointed Minister of State with special responsibility for Migration.

Discussions are underway between myself and the Ministers of State regarding the functions to be delegated to each of them. Following the conclusion of these discussions a statutory instrument setting out the delegated functions for each Minister of State will be laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas.
