The below table details payments made to the Climate Action Fund Scheme by my Department and the Agencies under its remit for the years 2020 to 2023.

Year Mileage (KM) Total C02 Liability
2020 7,208,305 502,009 €14,082.98
2021 2,834,407 218,470 €8,047.75
2022 17,814,795 2,288,492 €93,828.19
2023 19,709,316 3,062,010 €148,507.49
2024 TBC TBC TBC
I would advise the deputy that the 2024 liability is currently being worked on and will be submitted for payment to the Climate Action Fund by the end of this month. Equally, data relating to travel in 2025 and future liabilities have yet to be determined.

I can confirm that all trips made were compliant in the context of payments being made to the Climate Action Fund.
