57. To ask the Taoiseach the annual payment by his Department to the climate action fund scheme, as required by virtue Circular 01/2020 (D/PER), broken down by trip, in each of the past five years and to date in 2025, in tabular form. [4964/25]

Circular 01/2020 requires all Government Departments, Offices and Agencies to record, monitor and value the emissions associated with official air travel. The procedures to be followed in calculating the offsets, for both commercial and Ministerial Air Transport travel, are set out in the Circular.
The below table details the annual payment made by the Department of the Taoiseach to the statutory Climate Action Fund in the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications in the years 2020 - 2024 (inclusive).
The first payment, under Circular 01/2020, was made in Q1 2021 in respect of 2020. As the annual payment is made each February in respect of the previous year, details on the payment relating to official air travel undertaken in 2024 will not be available until end February 2025.
