The Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth has no remit on the matter of access to or use of smart phones by children under 16. This matter may be better addressed by my cabinet colleague, the Minister for Education, in the context of the Keeping Childhood Smartphone Free initiative.

The Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth has no authority with respect to the matter of social media access and use by young people. This is a matter for my cabinet colleague, the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
