Matters in relation to taxation come within the remit of the Revenue Commissioners and it is therefore best placed to provide information on companies or individuals who do not pay tax in Ireland. Successful tenderers for public works contracts and works related services contracts are required to comply with tax clearance requirements as part of public procurement arrangements. This operates on the basis of a requirement to produce a current tax clearance certificate that is provided to it by the Revenue Commissioners.
