The number of mobile phones issued to staff in my Department was 80 in 2022, 194 in 2023 and 98 in 2024 to date. These figures, particularly the figures for 2023, include the replacement of existing older mobile phones which were replaced due to them no longer being supported by the manufacturer.

The total costs expended by my Department on handsets and phones bills was €155,757 in 2022, €188,781.62 in 2023 and €79,063 in 2024 to date.
