To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if she is satisfied that an organisation (details supplied) fully cooperated with Sport Ireland in addressing the athlete welfare concerns expressed surrounding its high performance programme; if she is satisfied that Sport Ireland took appropriate action given the concerns raised by athletes in its high-performance programme; the specific steps that have since been taken to ensure the protection and well-being of these athletes; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 100 to 103, inclusive, together.

Sport Ireland, which is funded by my Department, is the statutory body with responsibility for the development of sport, increasing participation at all levels and raising standards, including in relation to high performance sport generally.

I have referred the Deputy's question to Sport Ireland for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to inform my office if a reply is not received within 10 days.
