The Department of Rural and Community Development was established on 19^thJuly 2017. Michael Ring T.D. was appointed Minister from July 2017 until June 2020. While in this post, Minister Ring employed the following staff in the Department.

2020: Jan-Jun

In June 2020, I was appointed Minister for Rural and Community Development. Set out in the tables below are relevant staff that have been employed from June 2020 to date. There are no Civil or Public Servants seconded to work within my office in the Department or my Constituency Office.

My special advisor's role includes the provision and oversight of press information, advising on external communications, oversight of briefing material including for Order of Business purposes, and liaison with similar advisors across Government.

The main duties of the Temporary Clerical Officer in my Constituency office include general office duties such as meeting constituents, scheduling meetings and recording and responding to constituency representations.
