I have a very good working relationship with my Swedish counterpart, Minister Tobias Billström and I meet him regularly at the monthly Foreign Affairs Council meetings of the European Union. I wrote to him last year and expressed the hope that he might visit Dublin in 2024. I am hopeful that this visit will take place around the opening of the new Embassy of Sweden which is expected in the fourth quarter of this year.
