The current allocation in 2024 for Clár na Leabhar Gaeilge is €1,061,165.00. The allocation in 2008 was €1,820,000. Therefore, the estimated cost of restoring Clár na Leabhar Gaeilge's level of funding to the level of funding it had in 2008 would be €758,835. Adjusted for inflation, this figure would rise to in the region of €1.2m.
