The Office of Public Works (OPW) can confirm that An Garda Síochána (AGS) has approved a proposal for the rationalisation of the internal layout of Greystones Garda Station.
These works include the creation of suitable female staff welfare facilities, improved safety measures for staff and a general reconfiguration of spaces to maximise the footprint for staff along with improved access for the public. It is expected that the works will commence in Q4 2024.
The commencement date for the scheduled works are subject to the final sign-off of operational and design requirements by An Garda Síochána, and successful tendering process.
